Salvation is an easy thing to receive. In fact, it is a free gift! The following simple outline explains God's plan of salvation.
The ABC's of Salvation:
A stands for admit. In order to be saved, we must first admit that we are sinners.
Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
B stands for Believe. In order to be saved, you must believe that Jesus died and rose again to pay the debt for your sin.
Romans 10:9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
C stands for Call upon Jesus for salvation. Confess and forsake your sins.
God has promised to save those who call upon him. But just saying words means nothing unless you believe in your heart. If you realize your need for salvation, and believe that Jesus died to pay for your sins, now is the time to call upon Him to save you.
Let the words below be a guide for your prayer:
Lord, I know that I am a sinner and that my sin separates me from you.
Lord, I am sorry for my sins and ask you to forgive my sins.
I believe that JESUS paid for my sins when he died on the cross,
and I believe He rose again just like the Bible says.
Please come into my heart and be the Lord of my life
and help me to live for you every day.
Lord, Thank You, for saving me, in JESUS' name.
